3rd Visa Research Internship.

Mert finished his 3rd internship at Visa Research, Austin office. Compared to the last two internships, this was in-person experience. He made multiple good friends. He worked on a project related to Human-in-the-loop systems.

Project details:

• The team proposed a human-in-the-loop recommender system improving AI decisions using active learning for anomaly detection applications, but applicable to different application scenarios such as credit card approval system.
• The framework helps to increase in precision and recall.
• The process of patenting the framework has been started.
• The team also is writing a paper for proposed method.
