Mert has received an invitation from the general chair of KDD 2023, Prof. Ambuj Singh, to serve as Registration Chair in KDD 2023. Mert gladly accepted to be involved in the organization committee.

Mert has become 5th year Ph.D. student at UCSB! This year, his focus will be on his research.
